Insights: Bushcraft by Day, Photography by Night and Camera Accessories

Bushcraft Event

Originally, I planned to post a link yesterday to some photo impressions on my gallery I took during the bushcraft weekend. However, fatigue and the onset of a cold got in the way. But, here it is today!

I always aim to create a full photo reportage of the event, but I’ve never quite succeeded. A weekend like that is such an intense experience, and capturing photos is not always top of mind. Nevertheless, I did manage to take a few shots. Oh before I forget, the header photo here above, is an AI generated one 🙂

Daylight to Night Experiment

Weekly Articles

Tomorrow, we’ll continue with the promised ‘fireworks’—and yes, when I say ‘fireworks,’ it’s a figure of speech. What’s super interesting for one person might be boring for another. But I always do my best to find topics that are fascinating to me and, hopefully, to others who share my interest in photography.

Lens reviews are a part of that, but I also cover accessories and other helpful tools. In fact, tomorrow’s article will focus on one such tool. I always praise the excellent image stabilization in my Olympus/OM System cameras, and rightly so. However, I’ve been trying to shoot videos of birds, deer, and other wildlife, and after a hike or bike ride, my breathing makes it nearly impossible to get steady footage. But I’ve found a solution for that problem.

I hope you’ll join me again tomorrow to check it out!
