Where the Wild Tools Are

New : OSP now has a second download hub ! – and no, it’s not for more LUTs. Its a new home for scripts, how-tos, and everything but LUTs
While PictureFX on itch.io remains the home for all things LUT-related – whether it’s .cube, .png or just pure cinematic madness – there’s now a second branch growing from the same tree.

Say hello to opensourcephotography.itch.io, the new place for everything else.

That means:

  • Bash scripts to make your life easier (and your terminal prettier)
  • How-to PDFs and cheat sheets for RawTherapee, Darktable, GIMP & co
  • Tools and tweaks that help you work faster or smarter
  • Downloads that don’t fit the LUT category, but still deserve a home

In short: if it’s made by OSP but isn’t a LUT, it now lives there.

Why the split? Simple: clarity. Keeping LUTs separate from tools, tutorials and utilities helps you (and me) find what you’re looking for faster. And itch.io’s interface makes it easy to keep everything lightweight, focused, and up-to-date without the distractions of a bloated CMS or a foggy plugin ecosystem.

This new space will grow over time – no promises, but expect surprises.

The site is already live — in fact, the Linux JARVIS HUD guide is up and running — but today I’m officially declaring it open with a brand-new download: the aurora borealis overlays featured in my latest posts on Open Source Photography and La Gallerie. All links below.
