Well, today I put the finishing touches on the website’s new look! I wanted to move back to a grid layout instead of the single-post view I had before. This way, readers get a broader overview of multiple articles at once. At the same time, the single-post view has been enlarged on tablets and PCs, making for a better reading experience.

For the header theme, I’ve selected four photos from my earlier shoot at the bicycle bridge in Antwerp, featured in La Galerie. These images will automatically rotate each time the site is refreshed.

Lately, I’ve been publishing a bit at random, but that’s changing! From now on:
- Mondays will be for the main article of the week.
- Wednesdays will occasionally feature a Short, highlighting a photo or series from La Galerie.
- Fridays will be reserved for news updates or shorter articles.
During holidays, there might be fewer posts, but I’ll do my best to keep the content flowing.

As always, feel free to ask questions! I’ll answer as many as I can. Requests for reviews or articles on specific topics are also welcome—if they’re feasible for me, I’ll schedule them for a future post.
Coming up this Monday: the next installment in the new Deep Dive series! This one will focus on photo management in RawTherapee and how it can be effectively handled within a RAW editor like RT.

If you enjoy the articles on this site, please like them and consider subscribing—it’s free, and your support keeps me motivated to continue! Thanks in advance! 😊

The new site looks great, you’re brave. I will dig around and see if there are any(more) hidden things…there always are.
My first comment, done in Chrome, disappeared when I apparently hit a wrong key. My fault, the Block editor is not very forgiving 😂

Every system has its pros and cons. WordPress is far from perfect, but other platforms also have their limitations. I’ve gotten used to it by now and just hope the folks at WordPress don’t bother us too much with untested updates and such.
Have a great weekend, Ted!

I started using WordPress before there was a WordPress 😂😂. I’m an old nerd. Had to use my own servers. It does drive me nuts at times, but here I am. We have 2 old legacy business accounts which gives us 200 gig disk space and the ability to use the old interfaces and PHP. WP keeps it running, I pay and keep the disk space manageable. Detente 😜
