New Lut : PictureFX Tactical Visor

PictureFX – Now Available on Our New Download Platform !

FreshLuts has served us well, but it’s currently full — no new LUTs can be added for the time being. That’s why I’ve set up a new dedicated download page over at https://picturefx.itch.io, starting with our brand-new PictureFX Tactical Visor LUT.

Several of the most downloaded LUTs from FreshLuts will also be added there over time. The main bonus? Each download comes as a ZIP package containing both the .CUBE file and a PNG-based LUT — specially formatted for RawTherapee users, who can load it directly using the LUT module in the Color tab.

Just click the Download button — your browser will prompt you to save the file wherever you want.
No fees, no signup, no nonsense — just free, creative tools.

If you run into any issues with downloading, or have questions or feedback, feel free to leave a comment — I’m happy to help!

PictureFX Tactical Visor

Let’s be honest—this might not get the average photo enthusiast fired up. Turning all your images green probably doesn’t sound that inspiring. But that’s not what PictureFX Tactical Visor is for.

Back in 2015—yep, that’s a decade ago!—my first steps with PictureFX were loosely based on film simulations. I wanted my own NIK-style film looks to use in RawTherapee. But then the whole Fujifilm recipe craze exploded, and I realized something important: what was really missing was the weird stuff. Sure, PictureFX includes a handful of honest-to-goodness 35mm film looks, but most of it leans more toward creative effects.

Take the well-known infrared looks, or the red-hued Aerochrome simulation—those are the kinds of things I couldn’t easily find elsewhere. That’s also how PictureFX Cinestill 800T became one of the most downloaded in the set: it’s a true film emulation, but unlike anything available in your average LUT pack.

PictureFX Tactical Visor fits that same philosophy. Sure, you probably can find plenty of green-tinted photos online. But where’s the matching color grading LUT? Well, now it’s here – part of the ever-growing PictureFX library. Like everything else in the collection: free to use, no strings attached.
