Website in Motion — What’s Going On at OSP?
If you’ve visited Open Source Photography directly (and not just via the WordPress Reader), you may have noticed things are shifting.
As mentioned a few days ago, the site recently went through a theme and layout overhaul — new colours, new structure, even a fresh logo.
And now? It’s time to reorganise the menus and pages from the ground up.
While this is ongoing, the “Under Construction” header image stays in place. Once that’s gone, most of the heavy lifting will be done.
What About the Fujifilm Recipes?
If you came here specifically for Fujifilm recipes — some are still around. You can find them via the search function (look for the magnifying glass on the right side of any page).
Type something like Mark G Adams and you’ll land right on his film recipe articles here.
But that’s likely all you’ll find — all other recipes are being gradually removed.
And if you were looking for that once-famous “Largest Collection of Recipes Brought Together” — that page is now gone. Fully.
What’s Next?
The old “Film Sim” menu is now renamed to LUTs & Recipes.
It will be gradually rebuilt and refreshed — with a stronger focus on creative LUTs and original looks. The only Fujifilm-related content that will remain there is a dedicated page for the film recipes by Mark G Adams (yet to be published).

This site is shifting focus, but that doesn’t mean the legacy is forgotten. For those still chasing that Fuji feel, you might want to check out the PictureFX LUTs — several of them are inspired by classic film looks, and they play nicely with RAW workflows, regardless of camera brand.
I hope you’ll stick around for what’s coming next — whether you’re into film simulation, colour grading, or just curious about open source workflows that actually work.

Hey Mark – thanks! It’s more work than I thought in any case. Today is a public holiday here in Belgium — Ascension Day. No idea if that’s a thing your side too, but if it is: enjoy the time off with your wife and kids! If not, just make it a good family day anyway 😊 Catch you Friday!
