Something Old, Something Leica…

šŸšļø Something Old, Something Leica…

While walking along the stately Prinsendreef—lined with large villas and shiny modern apartments—I stumbled upon a modest little cottage that time seemed to have forgotten. Slightly worn, totally out of place, and yet… it had charm. The kind of charm that whispers stories and dares you to imagine what if.

I photographed it a while back with the Leica T and recently revisited the RAW files in RawTherapee—this time using a Leica M8 color profile, pulled straight from the Adobe DNG Converter. The result? Classic tones, subtle warmth, and that unmistakable Leica-ish glow, even without spending Leica-ish money.

Curious how a Leica T with a budget 28mm lens can echo the soul of a Leica M8? And want a closer look at that quirky little house?

P.S. A detailed guide on using Leica M8 profiles in RawTherapee is coming soon.
