Re Editing Pictures and How Birch Tar Perfume Could Change your Wildlife Photography

When you’re out exploring, do you find yourself taking countless photos of the same subject? Do you publish all of them? Probably not—and that’s a good thing. Nothing turns off readers of articles or viewers of photo galleries faster than feeling like they’re seeing the same photo over and over. Even long series of similar shots rarely capture a viewer’s interest.

I’ve analyzed the stats from photo galleries like Flickr and visitor behavior, and the results are surprising. I also did some research online about how readers respond to long articles. While they can be a challenge, sometimes they’re necessary to make a point clearly.

The problem is : many people browse on their smartphones and spend only a few seconds looking at your latest work. Worse yet, those same stats reveal that if you present too many photos or overly lengthy articles, your audience often gives up after just a few images or paragraphs and moves on.

The secret? Be selective with what you share. Post fewer photos, but make each one truly stand out. That’s the idea behind my latest gallery series. It combines carefully chosen images—some older favorites, others from larger series—with a fresh twist: a new camouflage technique I’ve recently discovered. Curious? Check out the link below!
